My Speeds STINK! Help Please...

Hi Gang

Im new here and i could use some help .

I have verizon 1.5mb connection and this is my speed test results

:::.. Download Stats ..:::

Connection is:: 1494 Kbps about 1.5 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB)

Download Speed is:: 182 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net (server2)

Test Time:: Wed Jan 25 19:37:23 CST 2006

Bottom Line:: 27X faster than 56K 1MB download in 5.63 sec

Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 31.75 % of your hosts average (verizon.net)

Is their anyway i can make this faster with cablenut and if so what CCS file should i load?

Those speeds area about as good as they will get.

Sort of just what they said. It don't get any better. Unless you upgrade to 3.0.  :grin2:

If you are refferingto the " May need help : running at only 31.75 % of your hosts average (verizon.net)" part it only means an average of all type connections. Including 3.0, 6.0, and 8.0 if it is already out. So being at the bottom of the chain, you would get the slower speeds percentage wise.  :wink2:
