madracer Posted January 26, 2006 CID Share Posted January 26, 2006 I can't a straight answer on this. I think this is the site that can help me. I get a wide range of speed readings when I test. I go from a high of 3300kbps down to 300kbps. I run the test 5 times in a row and its all over the place. I tried about 5 other speed test sites and I get the same results. What is going on? When I test on adelphias speed test i get a consistent 4400 to 4700kbps. What is going on? Upload speed is always consistent at 425kbps. Your feedback please. madracer Posted January 27, 2006 Author CID Share Posted January 27, 2006 Thanks for the tip. I ran the largest speed test 2992 and I got the same varying results. First time 1200kbps then 635, 750, 800, and then 1500kbps. Is this typical? Is there something wrong with my Adelphia service? Modem? Wiring?
