Either your right next door to the Central Office of your DSL, But they still place caps on dsl, don;t they?? Anyway I think you may have a corrupted configuration file whithin your DSL MODEM. The configuration file comes from the DHCP server and tells all the modems on the network, their ip adresses and how fast to run. I think either your modem has a bad file and is letting you run your modem uncapped... I have seen this before, although rare... But I'm pretty sure your ISP will notice and fix this glitch within your modem in due time,

What type of modem are you using? 2wire? if so go to gateway.2wire.net and see what its connected at. Right now I'm connected at 1.5 down and 384 up my max

2 weeks ago i went to upgrade to the 3/608 line and they said my line wouldn't support it? Are they talking about the equipment? I used to be on 10/512k dsl then went down to 5/512k...
