Enter the number for existing user (2). Then enter the number for Business/ Professional support (4) then tech support. You automatically get tier 2. If you wait and then go into all other then DW7000 you will be calling India. The first knucklehead I spoke with couldn't resolve my problem and said the dish needed to be realigned. I had the exact same problems as you described in your email. I called back the next day to find out which installer was assigned to my problem. The tech said that the installer order was rejected back because the first tech didn't properly diagnose the problem. The second tech corrected the problem by reassigning a different frequency to my dish through a back door registration process. This fixed my problem and I'm now uploading at 200Kbps and downloading at 1000Kbps. Keep calling until you get someone who is competent. (Not an easy task!) Best of luck to you! Thanks for your help, but I don't think changing to a different frequency would help me much. I tried to change by running through setup again. It doesn't matter if they don't change it, I can still see what I get on each frequency and satellite (which was 10 for every one, even a different sat.). I plugged in my old 6000, and at first it was jumping around from 0-29, then after about 20 mins. it went up to a 54-56 signal (I had snow on the dish so that was probably the problem). mrcleanshaven Posted February 5, 2006 CID Share Posted February 5, 2006 spoke too soon, roofalanche covered dish and signal went to 30.... cleaned off now and signal @70 with heavy clouds... last week I had a similar 'tcp accelaration not operational' which disallowed me to get online (7000) system. called support (you know the story there...) then got level 2 "Alan" in FLA was excellent help. he did 'things' on his end and everything was operational after the obligatory 30 minutes on the phone... may be that a call is the next 'only' thing you can do?
