I can get pretty good speeds to Switzerland.  Can you recommend a mirror in Sweden?

TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.3.3e

click START to begin

Another client is currently being served, your test will begin within 45 seconds

Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  Done

running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 1.87Mb/s

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 10.59Mb/s

The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet

Here is my speed to Russia, not nearly as good as Switzerland.

TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.3.3a

Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  Done

running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 722.10Kb/s

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 5.03Mb/s

The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet

And finally here is Taiwan.

click START to re-test

we dont have any good web based speedtests here :(

the best you will find is the testmy.net mirror i host, but that server is not optimized for oversea testing

FiosFiend you could try this program i use, it measure speed to the main ISP

Wow Van....thanks for that.  This is a very cool test.  If I'm translating this correctly it's telling me that my max download is 15.89 Mbps max upload is 1.93 Mbps and actual is 1.7 Mbps up and 3.5 Mbps down.  Is that correct?

UDP is a protocol that dosent use acknowledgepackets like TCP do, that means faster transfers, usually your cap unless you have alot of packetloss on the route

Tptest is a opensource program, http://sourceforge.net/projects/tptest/
