I go to West Iredell High School in Statesville, NC. I wish I went to Duke.

And yes, Bellsouth is the ISP. I don't know whether the Central Office has a T-3 line or possibly a small OC connection.(There are 30+ schools getting the same speeds. This was tested at the same time as the guy next to me in the Computer lab, and we both had about the same speed.)

When I went to school we were bragging about our1200baud modem and thought we were bad to the bone because we had the only that had a hard drive based computer (of course the hard drive was a Shugart SA4008 14" winchester drive that dimmed the lights when you turned it on).

wow that 41Mbps is nice, what your upload at school Swimmer?

that is the funny part.. the upload is really low.. about 1.5-1.7Mbps..  It is nice when I can find a server that is running pretty quick.. makes for 300mb file transfers in a short amount of time.
