Hey guys,

I got two computers in the house, 1 is mine, 1 is my sisters, but she only uses ICQ so doesn't care about the computer specs.

My comp: Pentium3 933MhZ 256 RAM

Hers: Pentium4 1.6GHz 256 RAM

I was thinking maybe I can switch the proseesser between the comps so mine would be faster, she doesn't care at all, how can this be done? Is it hard?

umm..this is not going to be possible..  the P3 993 Coppermine is based on the 370 socket type..  the P4 Willamette or the Northwood are both based on the 423/478 socket type.. Most of the time it is almost impossible to move from one generation to another on Intel products.  Looks like a motherboard replacement would be needed or swap computers.

a lot of it depends on the hardware.. some times it will work and some times it will not..  I have only had one successful hard drive plug and play from a different system.  about 99% of the time it is going to require a reformat.
