OK got a couple of things i want to take care of in one post...I read in ur post that to make sure u have 'Full duplex'.  I remember back when, where it was ..but now that i need to find it, i cant..so give me the place where its located! lol...

Another thing my connection has changed in the past couple months.  But as i was lookin at other peoples speeds mine are pretty decent.

Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

My test i ran tonite---

Connection is:: 3170 Kbps about 3.2 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)

Download Speed is:: 387 KB/s

Bottom Line:: 57 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 2.65 second(s)

Is there any way i can get back to those speeds that i had a couple months ago?  I noticed that i got an upload higher than Comcast shows....My upload sucks compared to the other test.  Im averaging around 239 compared to 269...Thanks in advance for your time!

My guess is that someone hopped onto your node, and the excess bandwidth is now shared between you two, or more than just two. I don't think you'll get higher speed again, other than scaring everyone else from the node you're on.

Yea mine is the same way. Depending on the route congestion, you may see speeds from 368 -> 425, like i was getting last night. thazts normal, no real "loss" of speed there.

Your speed is fine, above your cap downstream and close to cap upload, what tweaks are you using now?

I think RTB is right, have you tested speed at times when less ppl using internet, if so did speed increase?

you can try setting duplex manually, below you see a guide.

ok well i guess u cant change the duplex setting on a wireless adapter.

Dont they come in intervals of 11, 11, 22, 33, 44, and 55?
