The radical Blended Wing design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with the NASA Langley Research Center. resopalrabotnick Posted April 25, 2006 CID Share Posted April 25, 2006 i wonder how they are going to meet faa regs on evacuation? i know airbus had a helluva time designing escape slides that would work from the upper deck in moderate to high winds. the blended wing puts pax way in the middle of the aircraft structure, the only access would be through the middle of the leading edge of the wing.
