Recommended Posts

I never had an HDTV before. The wife got me one for the superbowl as a surprise. It's the Westinghouse LVM-37W1. Take a look and tell me if you guys think we picked well. I did some research before the purchase and it led me to this thing and it's raw as S#!t on the xbox 360. I love this thing!.31386643-2-120-0.gif

you didn't do bad, its not the best but it is no were close to the worse PCmag gave it 3 1/2 out of 5. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1885043,00.asp one of the really good things about that TV is the duel DVI. but as stated in the review it does not do good with standard-definition content. but if you watching HD it should be a beautiful display. over all i think it is pertty good. you two did well.

Thankyou good sir. Hope that I can afford a ps3 to play on this screen.  :haha:

U have $600 to drop on the system?

Japanese website IT Media have interviewed SCEI president Ken Katuragi and asked him about the high price point of the PS3. Katuragi said, "Price setting is always a headache for us. No game machines are comparable to the PS3, which is neither a genuine game console, home electronics [product] nor a personal computer. It is a new kind of product. [it will be] consumers who decide whether it's expensive or cheap. If a product offers charm, then buyers will be convinced."

Ken doesn't seem overly confident does he? Instead of launching into a speech about the capabilities and features of the PS3 and why it's worth $599 he appears to skirt around the issue.

The fact that you'll probably be able to buy three Wii's for the price of one PS3 doesn't help Sony, but the high price point has already put off a lot of gamers who would love to buy the console but simply can't afford it.

It was announced at E3.. yes you can start crying now..

Looks like we have a thread on it already.. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-13967
