whiteolorin 1 Report post · CID: 612856891 Posted January 10, 2005 I know this is probably an error, but I love these results anyways. :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 1573 Kbps about 1.6 Mbps (tested with 579 KB) Download Speed is:: 192 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Bottom Line:: 28 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 5.33 second(s) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=JBOMQBVLD It would be nice if that was truly my speed. If direcway could just decide to be nice to all of us and give their customers a boost. But direcway being being good like that will probably never happen. Hopefully one day direcway will either lower their prices, or increase everyone's speed, or do away with the FAP. I'm willing to bet that I could die of old age still hoping for that though. If you are reading this, looking for a point to me saying all this, there is none. Just wanted to say it.
The Reverend 1 Report post · CID: 612851664 Posted January 10, 2005 Hello again whiteolorin, Yes, it most certainly WOULD be nice if DirecWay would GIVE a little instead of constantly taking, but do not be looking for them to provide any "boost" to you ever. The Reverend 1 Report post · CID: 612851481 Posted January 10, 2005 Hey there wmmc; Would you believe that Wild Blue is going to be built (in fact it already is) upon the very same framework as DirecWay ...right down to using (mostly) the very same Satellites, AND a FAP policy (which they refuse to be "exact" about when asked to describe).
