What a nice surprise. Other ISP's in your area may be offering faster speeds, or are planning to do so. Comcast is stepping up to the plate so you'll remain one of their customers. I haven't been on the Comcast forums in quite a while. I wonder if anything has changed as far as what upgrade they'll be going with for the rest of the nation. Blunted 2 Posted May 23, 2006 CID Share Posted May 23, 2006 i get on average about 24 to 26 most of the time but off peak i can get 30 and i always get atleast 1700 up which is great for $45 a month. the basic plan for optimum is 2000 up and 15000 down so maybe you should try optimum again for $30 a month promotion deal and keep both to compare it and see which 1 you like best. you get a few more options with boost which is the package i have so check it out.
