hey my comp is preety old, i had it since like 2001 or something, and i have a 80 gb drive, i have a partition on 3gb for windows files and the rest is for regular stuff

but it only shows 54 gb...shouldnt it be at least around 72 or something?

maybe there's a hidden partition, i know some manufacturers put like recovery partitions that dont show up in My Computer.

also...54gb? that sounds like the HD may be a 60gb harddrive.

Have you tied installing linux by chance?  might want to try this.. control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management -> storage -> disk manager.. that should show all partitions on the disk..
