BT SPEEDS 1MB

my advertised speed is 1mb, and i get about 119kbps, is this what i should be geting?

Btw i ran a test on  a 1014kb file and it said this

Tested from a 1013 kB file and took 7.203 seconds to complete

well I'm sorry then you are stuck, that is the problem with DSL, distance is a huge factor. and try and tone down the language a bit.

uhm, where are you getting 30 kbps

and by the way, those are good speeds since you are on a 1 mbit service... call your isp to upgrade if you want faster speeds....

uhm, where are you getting 30 Kbps

30ks slower..

here, i am on bt and get 1mb and i did a test to see availability, look what it said

For Telephone Number (my phone number) on Exchange (my town)

Your exchange is ADSL enabled, and our initial test on your line indicates that your line should be able to have an ADSL broadband service that provides a line rate up to 1Mbps. However due to the length of your line the 1Mbps service may require an engineer visit who will, where possible, supply the broadband service.

Our test also indicates that your line should be able to support a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 2Mbps or greater.

WELL HOW THE FUCK DO I DO THAT!!!>!>!>!>?!
