I have norton antivirus, is it worth it? It always has that auto protect running in the background, all i wanted was the virus scan, i already heard NAV internet security was terrible so i just got basic NAV. Should i just get AVG? I counted and NAV has 5 different processes running in the background. In total under proccesses in task manager it is using 35,000k. I'm asking cus i was wondering if this is affectin my ping which i see is at 130 avg. in multiple computer games, i hate seeing people with 30 or less and im way up at 130?!?!?!

i would get rid of it and go stright to AVG, norton is really bad. and it slows down your computer quite a bit. but no it wont make your ping any better thats all your ISP.

So there is nothing i can do about my ping? I do live out in the country, my city's population is only 2,800 could that be it? But i am close to the verizon building in my city, thats why verizon qualified my for the 3000/768 connection upgrade.
