Except that one guy that was getting 500+Up & Down. His name was...truckinslim. That was weird too. But he must have had the best U/L on Dway to date.

Tommie,

On another forum one with a .98 and 2 watt TX gets constantlly over 400Kbps and higher. This is on of his test scores with the HN7000S on IA6:

He does run a business account so I guess you only get more if you pay more.

Oh yeah, you can pay for more. If I personally had to pay more for what they offer @ the price they want, I would probably just up and go full T-1. Hands down.

1500/1500 would beat the crap out what Hughes has. And no sat problems. Totally dedicated to ME!  And I believe the last quote from a year ago was like $400+ a month.  :azn:

I have a small office plan, but I only have a .74m dish and I am only paying $60 a month. Got all this done after having a little chat with the VP of customer service for hughes. By the way, the only reason they want you to buy a bigger dish to upgrade to the small office or business plans is to make money.

Try testing with the 2992 file test. If you really want to test it here.

And clean out your temp files before testing as it will take you directly into the test.

That will definatley put your speeds into perspective.  :grin2:

Tim all I can tell you (since U/L is so hard to cheat on) is Truckinslim was getting 500+/500+ on a consumer plan. several tried to refute it. Myself included and to no avail. So yes with the proper things in order yes. I at one time was getting over 2800 D/L consistently. And boy did this make Bird Fan  :angry5: i even pulled over 5000 once. But you know what, I did get those speeds. So I started having to test with the 12K test just to make him happy [and I was still pulling over 1800]. You know what else? No one else would test with the 12K also. So I was singled out. If he can get them, I don't care enough to argue with what I am not sitting in front of in the first place just to try and call him a liar. No anger, just facts.

Really just explaining my point of view on satelite inconsistencies. Some people just get too upset over nothing. If they want you to help, I assume they will ask. Otherwise, unless it is unreal... why bother.

Oh short answer, yes it is quite possible to even be faster on a consumer plan.

Also remember I am on the 500/50  And I seldom get my U/L. :cry2:

Also if I remember right, ghostmaster and the rest are on the 200U/L package. But they all are over on their U/L.
