Ryan314 Posted June 30, 2006 CID Share Posted June 30, 2006 Ok so starting like an hour ago ive been getting like tons of pop ups from bitcomet.. im like wtf.. and im not sure if i should get like a pop up blocker or something.. if so does anyone got a suggestion for one? or a way to stop the popups from bitcomet? thanks. dlewis23 Posted June 30, 2006 CID Share Posted June 30, 2006 well the reason your getting popups is because bitcomment uses internet explorer 6 as the browser and when you go to some of the not so great sites that are listed in there they install things on your computer that you don't want. I don't recommend installing a pop up blocker because they don't work, the only ones that work are the ones built into the browser. what kinda popups are u getting? are they just regular popup or are they ones that come up in a little Grey window saying "you have spyware on your system go to this site and remove it" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
