xyther4523 Posted July 10, 2006 CID Share Posted July 10, 2006 I just started having this problem today..my computer screen randomly blinks. like it will randomly go black and back to normal, and its not the moniter cause i tryed another moniter on this computer and it still did it. any ideas?! help!! Nos7667 Posted July 23, 2006 CID Share Posted July 23, 2006 My monitor used to do this. It was caused by a flaw in the wiring. I had to send it back to dell and get it replaced. EDIT: Ok i just read the post again and it wasnt the monitor. Hmm. Try checking the cables if they are tight. And also check your refresh rate settings to see if they are set correctaly for your monitor. Also. Try turning off the power saving device on your PC that turns off the monitor when not in use.
