Direcway Slowing down ... Some advice

Recommended Posts

I hate that this is my first post but I am having trouble and need some help.

My Boss gave me his direcway system "dw6000". He says to me " I cant get out of my contract and I have three more months you might as well set it up at your house and use it " I think, great Idea!! So I do.

Now I know nothing about direcway but figure I can set it up. Well its installed I am getting 70-73 in signal and everything seems to be ok for a while. I have tested it at 9pm 7am and 2:30am and all get the same results.

It starts out good, great downloads, I am on a Mac running OSX so I go to apple's web site and start downloading an OSX update 149mb. It does the same thing every time. Starts and gets to about 40mb and slows down this morning I was getting 4.3k down. What is going on?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am searching this forum for previous posts so if you know of any that would apply let me know thanks

Roger
