cholla Posted September 7, 2006 CID Share Posted September 7, 2006 Sharky2006;I haven't tried this because the max size my Index.dat file gets is 32KB .How much slowdown could that cause anyway.I do manually delete it once a month or so.Just to clear it out.I did do something simular to my system restore file.But not for speed increase. Since you have already done the benchmark setup, they are simply using yours as the testee. 10393-9696=697 It appears it is still bring in around 700kbps higher even at 20Mbps.
