I just searched amazon and there is also an audio version of Night Shift, read by John Glover.  My favourites are Jerusalem's Lot and The Mangler.

Yeah - but I would have to buy it, I'd rather read it and make it personal rather than go the commercial sounding route. That's what made us big in the beginning, that we interacted, and paid attention to the listeners. (Granted I haven't been able to do it lately because of work but my boss OFFICIALLY approved my vacation on 10-31 and 11-1!)

*dances*

try to get the leatherbound complete tales of mystery and imagination, the raven and other poems.

nice feel to it when reading, good looking.

the raven is ok, but maybe the tell-tale heat or the cask of amontillado for stories, or one of the other shorter ones.

or a longer one. you have 36 hours....

Whats a library? I buy my stuff ;)

A reading of Stephen King? Sounds appropriate.

How about something from Everything's Eventual?

If you want, PM or e-mail me an address and I'll send you the book.

Yeah, another great collection of short stories. Well, I suppose they are all good, but I am most definitely bias. I always liked "L.T.'s Theory of Pets," but that is not necessarily the most festive of the bunch. "Riding the Bullet" is a good one too. :-D

Witch Doctor Lyrics

I told the witch doctor I was in love with you

I told the witch doctor I was in love with you

And then the witch doctor, he told me what to do

He said that

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang

I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true

I told the witch doctor you didn't love me nice

And then the witch doctor, he gave me his advice

He said that

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang

You've been keepin' love from me just like you were a miser

And I'll admit I wasn't very smart

So I went out and found myself a guy who's so much wiser

And he taught me the way to win your heart

My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to say

My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to do

I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang

You've been keepin' love from me just like you were a miser

And I'll admit I wasn't very smart

So I went out and found myself a guy who's so much wiser

And he taught me the way to win your heart

My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to say

My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to do

I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you, oh baby

Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-wal

Cholla, if you like Stephen King's fiction, you will probably enjoy his short stories a lot.  Everything's Eventual and Night Shift were mentioned here.  Skeleton Crew and Nightmares and Dreamscapes are also excellent collections.  He also has collections of stories which are in between novels and short stories (novellas), such as Different Seasons.

water ;I don't have a printer right now but even if I did it would be cheaper to buy the book. It's a large book a little over 1000 pages. It has a lot of shrt stories. The copy I read came from the local library. But if you don't like to use the library which is one way to get some use out of your taxes.

Amazon has it used for 3 dollars plus shipping.

Or are you a desperate library criminal that the library police are after because you owe book fines?

                                                        ;)  :haha:

Quit moving water, or are you a desperate criminal in that way also?

Maybe you don't get along with neighborhood associations like me. That is why I moved to the country. I hate the paint colors they pick out for you to use.  :tongue2:

And if I want pool rights, I will just dig up a pond for the kids.  :haha:

water;Since you have kids in school most school libraries can get what they wany from the public library. So even without a library card one of your kids could probably get it that way if your local public library has it.

I guess my problem is I do use my library. They have something called interlibrary loan.I use it mostly for movies but I have gotten a few CD's that way too & copied them .I have got movies from as far as Oregon. All free if you don't count the property tax I pay to support the library.

You pay it too even if you rent because the landlord passes it on to you in higher rent.
