Hello all,

This is my first post.  I'm in West Virginia and Charter sold out some accounts to Suddenlink.  I was just wondering if anyone else is getting speeds like this.  I am subscribed to the 3M/256 (the $39.99) plan.

I ended up calling Suddenlink.  The technician sounded surprised when my connection was only 254 kb/s.  They ended up telling me it was a billing error, so I guess that means that they subscribed me to the wrong high speed internet plan.  They told me to call back when the billing department is open.  Thanks all for the advice. I'll post the new speed soon (if Suddenlink ever fixes it lol)

Thanks all.  :D

Probably not.  Just two months ago they cut my cable on accident.  I gave them a call and they said everything thing was right with the billing.  The next day I called them again and they said that they accidently cut mine and the cable that was supposed to be cut was my neighbor's cable.  I was furious.  I gave them another call and asked if they could credit my account for the time it was cut off.  They just plainly said no and that they couldn't do anything like that.  To tops things off, they didn't reconnect my cable for a week and a half.  I just wish I had an alternative to choose from.   :?

With your speeds you would only choose it over dial-up. Trust me.

$59.95 per,  700/128 advertised. Actual is around 1030/33. On the new ones they get around 150U/L. FAP in usage, storm outages, buy equipment (Price: $499.98 + install). Nah, just joking really.
