I found out a power strip I use for my main TV is causing some picture interference.I tried another one & it has the same effect. If I unplug the strip & plug the TV in direct I don't get the interference(But I also don't have enough outlets for the DVD,VCR's.Satellite reciever etc.)I ran across the article in the link below & thought I would post it for opinions. The article was about the ground loop effect on an electron microscope.

One reason I thought this might effect computer performance & you might not even realize it was happening.

So what kind of power strip do you use for your PC or TV?

Well, a ground loop shouldn't affect a PC...

As far as my surge protector, I have a single plug-in one (unknown) followed by my APC UPS.  (For my computer and monitors anyway.. I have 4 surge protectors in here I think...)
