There is my test. of course it is 3:30am in the morning here lol.  No i get faster results with Speakeasy and i always get around 12 with my isp test server and then i get around 20 or so with charters test site.  Frogger always is around 9 to 10, i guess it depends on where the servers are at and how close because i know speak easy in chi. is always around 17 to 18mb.

I noticed this test site has been pausing in the middle of runs.  today it was around 6 while all the others reported as normal.

Testmy is working just fine, think you better fine tune your settings

My settings are fine tuned.  I think with my over 15 years of PC Repair i should know weather its my system or not and if it was my system all the other test sites would report bad results as well.......Just like you always get a second opinion on your car or even a dr.

actually I'm complaining about my frequent dropped out they think I'm too fast that my line cannot cope with the speed(actually I'm re-adsl2/2+ mode).

is there any one know's why I'm always dropping off my connection?

I will greatly appreciate your advice.

thanks,

Lightningxxx.

note:why I always encountered this?

Error 671

Sorry, your score of 98043 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 60000 Kbps.  It is very doubtful your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST

Are you running a firewall?  -- Some firewalls may need to be taken down for TestMy.net to work.  After the firewall is taken down your browser may need to be restarted also.

Do you have an internet accelerator or proxy running? -- Some internet accelerators may cause false results when testing at testmy.net.  It's recommended and necessary for you to take down all programs that cache pages.  Note that your connection is the same speed although these programs make your connection appear faster because they precached pages for you.  Pages that have been precached (in other words fetched for you in advance)  are counter productive when you're trying to benchmark what your real line speed is.

Are you accessing the page incorrectly? -- Clicking the back button repeatedly in your browser often is the cause of this error, please refrain from using your browsers back button if you get this error often.

My honest guess is your constantly being dropped because of the speeds your getting.. If your at a constant 30 + mbs the network is going to cut you off at the knees so you dont " rape " the alocated bandwidth for your areas kernal. The network only alocates so much bandwidth per area. If 1 user is using 50+ % of the alowed bandwidth for the area their gunna cut you off to prevent others from getting nothing.

That would be my guess.
