His ISP is Direcway, i can almost guarantee you can't get those speeds from a DW6000 without uncapping it.

The only thing we don't know is his OS

Keep in mind that I'm on the 7000 with a signal strength of 33.

its hard to imagine a Columbus cloud would not hand you a red flag, I start to lose service below 30 with red flags....usually only happens in heavy rain, but my signal is around 80 normally, heavy clouds drop the signal 3-7 points easy.

glad it works for you......if you are only able to surf on blue sky, definitely would be on the phone.

I'm down to 31 when more people are on and it's been going out from 7 to 10 at night during peak hours.

It's way off, I've left a message for my installer but he hasn't called back. Tomorrow I'll be going up on the roof and tightening the dish to see if it's gone off line at all.

Probably too many folks using the Reverends settings and knocking all of us offline. I heard he has a new secret program to neutralize the action of the first program and put the DW user back on top.. I'll have to do a goggle when my connection comes back up..  ;)

If you find it, let me know.

Just to give a congrats to the Rev's work. Kind of like Hitler, he might of gotten run off, but he did build one heck of a Volkswagen!

Also I wanted to pull this a little closer to the top so it could help a few more folks out here. Plus I was tired of having to dig so far to get the info for other folks!  :D

PS I believe this is the hottest viewed topic on Direcway!

All I know is what I read on the internet. The Reverend was working in Costa Rica on some kind of a doomsday clock to tweak settings on electrical relays. From what I understand that's how he made such good progress with the DW6000. He runs his relays in a dielectric medium that is much more efficient than what DW uses. DW's relays are manufactured with slave labor in a poor country to save money, so they just can't hold signal..

Unlike Hitler, the Reverend is still alive, and I agree, he will be back....

Did he do the changes to his hardware?

EDIT: I just saw the thing about Direcway's slave labor, so it must be hardware related.
