Wuz up,

I'm using ISA server at a location ,my company is growing so we need another ISA server with same settings at another location,....I exported the configurations to a file ......On the server that will be used at the location I tried to import the settings ,but I'm getting "Error, password mismatch" but the password is the same, does the hardware have to identical or is the error due to my trying to import the settings on my network where the original ISA server is?

Thank you!

The configuration file for ISA should be all of the rule therefore I would think that it would be platform independent.. however, seen as you assign rules to NIC cards.. I am then not sure..  I havent worked with ISA at all.. I have used RAS on server 2003 to handle remote connections...

Even at that it should allow you to atleast open the file..  Have you tried backing up the file on the administrator account or are you using a created user account?

hmm.. odd.
