Yup , trying to stop the ravages of time on our bodies is futile, the mind may be young but the body suffers.

BTW, your outdoor space is phenomenal , Love it !!!!!

Thanks , indeed for a crowded London I find it a pleasant oasis , and indeed the English have a thing about gardens ,

although my main interest is in the garage/workshop visible at the end of the garden,

a few shots of the garden through the seasons

we had a bad winter this year ,I lost a few shrubs , but my Californian Rock roses survived , and so did my Japanese black bamboo,

The Mexican Yucca didn't ,

Jeez, I am turning into a gardening nerd ,quick pass me a Southern Comfort , and lets talk Bikes , or my mind will match my body

:grin2:

Hey , gardening is a blast, I could care less what anyone says about the way I do hahaha, here's a few pics from a few years ago around the house , pics don't do it justice , but then again , camera's aren't really my forte´either, much like the elusive , functioning " weed whacker " ( hint : the infernal machines and I are not on the same wavelength in the slightest sense if it.

The orange guy's ( forget the name there all over the US ) are great in a salad or lightly breaded and browned , and the roots , or tubers , are good in the salad or even getting a mess of them and mashing them like potatoes. yum

Bah , Id'e better stoppit, have to get to the new place and work on all the landscape there before it starts raining again.

WOW , just look at the space ? , ( it's a bit in short supply in the UK ),

The orange guy is ..is ....is , dang I have forgotten , we have them also but seen over here as a bit exotic , (same latitude as Ontario )

I specialise in dandelions and bind weed ,

my garden is laid out and maintained by a band of female helpers :smitten: , I supervise from my deck chair , [nerdly]

I guess I was born and bred a Spanner man , but I do appreciate a tidy garden ,and the same for a workshop ,

Mudmanc , you are moving ? , Raining ? sounds like moving to the UK :grin2: ,

but the last 14 days we have had clear blue, and 22 C ( 68 F ) another UK record busted ,

April Showers ,bring forth May flowers ,

BTW ,band of Female helpers ? , no I ain't a Macho pig , I sort their Computers and cars for free , they love doing gardens ,

indeed barter is the way to go during these hard times ,

Mudmanc you moving far ? , "Far" in the UK is 100 miles , after that you fall over the edge ,

I still can't get my head around a country 3000 miles wide , maybe being born an Islander ( 8X10 ) don't help

I can't remember the name of the thing to save me. I would bet that tdawn will if she see's it though.

Yea there's a lot of space here to be gardened , the pics are only a small part of it all and at least three years old ( I could look in the exif if I needed to ) and there's a lot more. Moving maybe 25 Km away, smaller , going from about 6 acres to 1/3 acre , but tons of garden area. Life changes over time , and priorities go with. Gonna do a lot more traveling this way. That and I have some serious responsibilities headed my way, I'll need the freedom I'm gaining.

Better part of the day I spent with rake in hand , cleaning up the garden area's that were left to go a bit wild for the last year or two, what a mess. I did find rhubarb , asparagus , onions, several different types of herbs , and quite a few things i dunno wtf they are lol

USA stats.

3,794,101 sq mi area

2010 census 308,745,538 population

Canada

3,854,085 sq mi area

34,417,000 population

So go to your province Roco, and you'll still be home. :smiley6600:

Wha ,Cananda 70% ice , my Frenchain't that good , I had trouble ordering a burger and fries in Paris ,

I had to revert to mime , the beef was easy , the fries took some beliving ,

and try mimeing a bap , I got a french hooker by mistake ,

My original province 80 sq miles when the tide is out , Pop,40 K out oif the tourist season , near on a million sardines in a tin in summer

yeah I would go back , the only stopper is the today $5 million bond rquierd , 7years out of the state , and it's start again time ,

nd no , aparently that ain't against my human rights , as the island is ruled by the Feudal system

, not part of NATO/E.U/ Common market /Britain/ or covered by the Geneva agrement ,

strangly enough it's very prosperous and doing OK ,

Btw it dosn't have a standing army ,

Hmm, maybe a leason to be learnt there ? , just smile at eveyone with a bulging wallet , or maybe not ,

for me home is where you make it , indeed nowhere is perfect , ( talking of Mime , being a travelling guy )

We have those here and there as well, they seem to pop up from seemingly no where , I don't know if you can eat them or not.

Us hicks from the South call the orange ones Tiger lily's! They grow wild all over the place!

And thats the name I was looking for. You see them along the freeway in culverts and ditches everywhere. It's good to know what you can and can't eat. I'm gonna have to look up the astromelia see if it's edible.

The first pic is a self portrait in my mirror.

We love Toads!

The Male Luna Moth was found in a neighbors yard by my Daughter.

Self Portrait

My Daughter, Sarah trying on Antique Glasses at the Museum where I volunteer. I am surprised they let her!

One of two paintings at the Museum which was formerly a Bank .

My Son, Sam

Been a while since I was in here. Hope to be in more!

I sure do like pictures from that era, something intriguing in most everything you can see.

And i do not believe for a moment biggles is 8 years old in that pic . You meant to type 3 , right ?

Is that some sort of metric conversion you have going there ? lol

Flute or recorder ?
