reddog00 Posted February 9, 2004 CID Share Posted February 9, 2004 Thanks pimpster Unfortunately I do not think it will be much higher than 5Mbps but the packet loss is causing some huge variations in my download speeds I am seeing anywheres from 1.0-5.0Mbps because of the problem. The plan I am on is only supposed to go up to 6Mbps so with the overhead and all I am only looking at probably 5100kbps for max throughput. Then again you Canadian's have a great network infrastructure compared to us money hungry Staters I got some bigshot over at DSLreports.com working on the packet loss problem for me so hopefully I will at least have a chance to get close to max speeds with the package I am on (6.0/608).
