My Sound Please Help!

Mine does the same thing. I have an e-machines desktop. I am used to it. And sometimes if it gets real bad I have to uninstall the sound controller and reboot. It lasts much longer that way.  :wink2: Windows media center 2005?

But I always have to reboot.  :o

Cleaning the dust out helps a little also.

Same here Sparticus, try this.

Start*all programs*control panel*classic view*left click system icon*hardware tab*device manager*sound,video, and game controllers*(mine here was) ATI unified (my brand of card)*right click*properties*driver tab*uninstall*reboot

Try that. It reinstalls and finds the driver on its own from there and reinstalls upon boot up.  :grin2:
