Swimmer Posted January 6, 2007 CID Share Posted January 6, 2007 I ran some test back in the day using a program called iperf. There was a slight difference in an extended test.(over 1Gb of data) In a three minute test which came out to about 300mb or so there was so little difference between WEP/WPA and nothing at all. This was all done with one client on the router at a time. So if you have multiple clients on the router, as most routers only have enough processing power for about 10-15 clients anyways, you may see a slight slow down and/or increased lag.
