VanBuren Posted January 20, 2005 CID Share Posted January 20, 2005 hey Bolodigi and welcome to the forum nice speeds., you might want to test some tweaks, to get a better upload https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1013.0 download cablenut 4.08 and vanburens_cablenut_settings_version_3.zip unzip settings to C:ProgramCablenut use this analyzer http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks and find MSS, a common value for cable is 1460 the parameter is "MSS requested:" now just open cablenut and in top left corner click file, click load custom settings file and browse to C:ProgramCablenutVanBurens_cablenut_settings_version_3vanburens_cablenut_settings_version_CABLE_FIBER_DIAL-UPWinXP_2K_CABLE_DSLMSS1460 dubbleclick on Cable & DSL 5000 768.ccs and click save to registry now reboot your pc try this first and if you need help make a thread in Make it faster forum, i can then make a custom 5000 512 file for you VanBuren Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
