I have been wanting a new system for quite some time..  Right now, as most of you know, I have an Inspiron 8600 laptop..  But I have been craving a desktop for quite sometime..  Here is what I came up with..

CPU:  Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz LGA 775

Motherboard:  GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813128012

Memory:  OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

Video: BFG Tech BFGR76256GTOCE GeForce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16

Hard Drive:  Maxtor MaXLine Pro 500 7H500F0 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s

CD-ROM:  HP 18X DVD

Swimmer regarding the Antec case you wondering

here is the comments from a friend of mine who has one

Great case but know what you are going to be putting in it.  If you are putting more than 2 hdd in the bottom section, get the 120mm extra fan.

Assure good air flow with round cables like : http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16812105907 and http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16812123149

Plan on using Velcro cable ties
