:uglystupid2:

Yes posted this on a fourm from the www.apple.com site

:tickedoff:

Any other sites or urls are kindly accepted

[nerdly]

I think she messed up the CPU - but that is unknown - again not a mac person

I also kinda thinking a bios problem boot from floppy and reset may fix - but that is too unknown

As having no useage of a MAC - someone that is a mac user is best to answer this problem(s)

if you have a OS install disk that came with the computer run the driver reinstall. a driver is missing.

I know the problem: you are using a MAC. :evil6:

Which MAC OS are you using? Should I assume OS 9?

this is a problem that can happen on any PC or mac. If he is using OS 10.3 or higher it would be a hell of alot easier to fix then on a pc

try pushing the option key or command key at start up. I can't remember which one actually gets you into the selective startup menu, but one of them does

You are MAC sensitive.

OS X 10.4

You are trying to load OS X 10.4 on that G3 powered MAC?

I have heard the 10.4 cannot be installed unless you use XpostFacto 4 but, you can install 10.3 without any 3rd party help.

I have also heard that if you have the DVD drive it is not supported under OS X and DVDs must be watched under classic OS 8.6
