how do I access the AP page again? somehow, I forgot how to  :idiot2:

you can always use the search feature in this site before asking a question. because most of the time, basic questions had already been answered.

Upload :: 110 Kbps or 0.1 Mbps (13 kB/s)

there's my speed during one of the "off-peak" hours, where internet traffic is supposed to be better, like now.

and here's a cut-out of my canopy home page:

RSSI : 1199

Power Level : -53 dBm

Jitter : 3

Air Delay : 39 approximately 0.36 miles (1911 feet)

and yea, I'm using color code 28, dunno how that works

from the looks of it, I think I get good signals, etc, but why am I still getting such crappy speeds x_x

As I have said somewhere in this forum, I have already done CB's 20 steps and the motorola canopy tweaks... =[

i need help. i cant flush my dns wen usin d command prompt "ipconfig /flush dns"

heres wat it says:

there is no space between flush and dns it should be  ipconfig/flushdns

is there any problem to your connection to repair it?

are you getting a no connectivity message when double clicking your network on the task bar?

more detail pls..so we can help

jpopc79 i also tried it without the space n i got the same error report.

i try repairing using the system tray Local Area Connection icon since i usually can't connect easily to the net. it happens almost everyday during the first time i turn on my pc.

well i think your canopy is not sending a good reply from your base station..

have you tried opening your canopy page?if you can try copy pasting your ep evaluation here so we can check your rssi and jitter maybe your problem is there..

to access it there a tutorial here somwhere try to search..

once inside go to TOOLS then click AP EVALUATION then paste it here

What cablenut settings will speed up my internet? I have the cablenut update and Van Buren's Cablenut settings. How come at night my internet is slow but it's fast in the morning. My last post was a speed test i took at night. I took a test earlier(morning) and I got 287.64 kilo bit speed. Which is still pretty fast. :wink2: I guess.

your ap is looking good with jitter 1 and rrsi 779..its beyond the average of 4 jitter and 500 rssi..

what seems to be the problem?

i know some of you know but for the sake of who doesn't here's the real deal.

the SPEED that is ALLOCATED in a particular AP/color code is being divided by people who are connected to that particular AP with an average limit of 384kbps per user.. for example 1GB of speed that would be around 1, 000 mb 10,000KB and more or less around 100,000kbps..

100,000 kbps divided by 384 kbps is around 260.. so in an AP that has 1GB allocation should have only a maximum of 260 USERS... in this case its 1GB.. but it does not apply to smartbro which has only a few mb allocated in each ap.. so if you over load it, usually people suffer..

im not sure with the conversion thing, but im sure this is what is happening...

i have been able to perform the 20 steps to tweak my smartbro connection, it is faster now but i still got disconnected between 1am-4am for some reasons. do i need to call them? i never had this problem before but since last month, i am always disconnected randomly at night and in the morning. thanks.  :angel:

@bvirus...

i called smartbro many times.... nothing is really happening.... they keep on telling that i should observe my connection and call them after 24 hours... believe it or not i have 10 report no.s to follow-up..... they never suggest to change my antenna... they say that there is a problem with the base station and the report is being process by the costumer service group.....

what will i do... nid help? should i go to a wireless center and command them to change my aNTENNA???
