Tbrown Posted January 23, 2005 CID Share Posted January 23, 2005 I'm wanting to hook up a 2nd computer to share the internet (dway) and was told by a "tech" that using a hub won't work, and that a cross-over cable wont work either....that I need a router. Any other type, and you will still need a hub/switch, and ICS on the host (from what I hear. Just goes to show ya, don't count on the dway "techs" for any help....they either don't know what they're doing, dont know what your talking about, or they give ya false BS information!!!!
