Mr. Romney used his war chest to spend nearly $2 million on television advertising in selected states, much more than any of his primary rivals, to introduce himself to voters on his own terms before others could characterize him. I find it too bad that the American public will vote for whoever dishes out more money during their campaign. It is no different in Canada, I must admit, but I wonder if it is different in some other countries, where people would actually not be influenced by massive amounts of publicity. I also wish that the television debates could be radio only, cause imo the faces of the candidates are of minor importance to whom most represents one's values. I could continue ranting a bit, but I should be studying.
