My internet has been acting up a bit

Recommended Posts

Well, today my internet has been acting strange. I do speed tests frequently, i usually get 7,500, arounf there, earlier i got around 6,200 i did it again after it and got around 7,500. Websites have been loading slower to, downloads seem to be working ok. This also happens on my computer upstairs to, my computer upstairs connects wirelessly through my wireless router(duh), and its been acting strange also. I go to speedtest.net and upstiars its starts at like 2,000 and sometimes gets to 7,000, and the ms ping on the test has been outragous. i usually get around 65(i click on the reccomened one every time, chicago) and upstiars today i got as high as 900, and downstairs i got around 250, im not sure what an ms ping is but i dont think it can be good if its that high. does anybody know the solution to this? is it my wireless router or cable modem? thanks
