GingaNinja Posted July 26, 2007 CID Share Posted July 26, 2007 I'm thinking of getting Insight Broadband soon, but I noticed that Vista is not on Insight's list of supported OS's. I'd appreciate it if anyone using Vista with Insight could tell me if they've had any trouble out of it, please and thanks.

GingaNinja Posted July 26, 2007 Author CID Share Posted July 26, 2007 Yeah, I didn't see why it would make a difference either, but the site mentioned it so I wanted to make sure....Strange Insight people Right now I'm on 56k dial-up, but I'll be calling Insight tomorrow to set up an installation date and stuff. GingaNinja Posted July 26, 2007 Author CID Share Posted July 26, 2007 Oh really? Thanks I've just gotta find time to go out and get a router and a few network cables...Friggin WalMart didn't carry them...Well, they carried a wireless router, but that's it O.o Stupid WalMart XD
Swimmer Posted July 26, 2007 CID Share Posted July 26, 2007 The only reason that they don't list Vista is because they have software to activate your account.. I have Insight up here in West Lafayette, IN and I don't require software.. However, my next door neighbor has some software service activator crap.. It also include a diagnostic tool.. I don't think they ship this anymore because from what I remember about the actual layout is that there is a mention of the @home network, which was dissolved in late 99-00..
