The Address bar may be missing (lost) in Internet Explorer if the Toolbar settings are set to remove the Address bar, or if there is a problem with a registry key.

To restore the missing address bar (show address bar), you can change the Toolbar settings or delete the WebBrowser registry key.

To change the Toolbar settings:

Sorry but i have no idea on both those too. I use "download accelerator plus" as my download manager and also it speeds up your download. It only works on regular dloads and not on P2P and torrents.

I guess its safe, but you also might want to try DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) or

try using Flashget instead . (AFAIK, there are some adds in using DAP ...  :?)

As for those who are reaching their 500kbps mark. w0ot! congrats!

I'm still waiting for an upgrade here..sigh

Btw, to know if your base station is upgraded already you can try to log-in at the smartbro portal.

See if the package is SMBRO, meaning you're still at the 384 kbps plan

and if it shows WR512... then, your base station are now upgraded to 512kbps. :cheesy:

Just a note, for those who doesn't know.  :smile2:

UPDATE:

After several weeks of observation, I am sharing to you a few steps to obtain higher scores during speed tests here at tmn.

1) Do the canopy tweak and the 20 Steps.

2) Do the ipconfig /flushdns thing.

3) Run CCleaner to eliminate all crap.

4) Use Internet Explorer 7 in conducting the test (for me its better than other browsers for speed testing).

I discovered, I just don't know if its a bug, that there is a hidden download data of 749 kB in the download test section. Though usually appearing unexpectedly after running the 579 kB download data, it usually gives higher scores.

Hope you guys absorbed the inputs.
