I needed to verify if i can login to the portal in case I will be redirected upon replacing my lan card. smartbro techs recommended D-Link so I'm gonna try it. We will see if there's improvement. coolbuster2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 26, 2007 UPDATE: After several weeks of observation, I am sharing to you a few steps to obtain higher scores during speed tests here at tmn. 1) Do the canopy tweak and the 20 Steps. 2) Do the ipconfig /flushdns thing. 3) Run CCleaner to eliminate all crap. 4) Use Internet Explorer 7 in conducting the test (for me its better than other browsers for speed testing). I discovered, I just don't know if its a bug, that there is a hidden download data of 749 kB in the download test section. Though usually appearing unexpectedly after running the 579 kB download data, it usually gives higher scores. Hope you guys absorbed the inputs. EDIT: It's 748 kB not 749 as previously posted.
