as of 1:35 AM, finished installing comodo firewall, avast anti virus, ccleaner and spybot. finished running chkdisk and also scanned for virus, spyware, ran ccleaner, applied cablenut and tcpoptimizer, and defragmented the hard drive. here's results:

Tested from a 579 kB file and took 13.907 seconds to complete

2 apps don't work for me since:

1) spybot

2) tcp optimizer

why does those 2 software don't work for you? Maybe a bug on the installer?

no. they don't work for me coz i don't use them.  :azn:

a friend of mine who owns a net shop informed me of some issues she met with both so i didn't use them myself.

of course it doesn't mean it'll not work for others...

i already got several RJ 11 6 pin plugs, just waitin for the crimping tool to arrive  :grin2:

good for you how much is the rj1`1 btw?

does the override method will reset the ip address of the canopy, because one of my friend cant access the canopy, even the incompetent smart broken techs daw, cant do anything on it???

yep it will reset the canopy's address back to 169.254.1.1
