To start off, i haven't been here in a while and for the past month I've been having periodic internet hang ups which results in pages not loading and horrible lag.(on World of Warcraft the latency meter shows 2k ms up to 10k ms)

I have a ping test for about 15 minutes to Yahoo.com(i accidently closed out the command prompt i had it running for 2 hours and had been getting similar pings)

Trace complete.

These bursts of lag can last from 5 seconds to upto 5 hours. And constant calls to isp and tech visits uncovers nothing. They were supposed to send out somebody to check the lines but no one came.(was supposed to come yesterday at 7pm cst) Even if they ping my modem when it's going on they see no lag and i know it's not the router because it did the same without it.

Any thoughts?
