Hello everyone,

I have a huge problem... please help!!

I work at an office where 1 computer tower fell and the whole system crashed. When i started the computer again the harddisk wasnt deteced.

Also the server harddisk stopped working. After taking it to a technican, he said the problem is with bad sectors. How can i fix these problems. Note that the servers harddisk is partitioned, it detects d and e but not c

Please help urgently....

Thank you

make it slave of another system for the meantime, then run TuneUp Utilities Disk Doctor on the affected partition. that will solve your problem.

drive is most likely dead.. Most likely when it hit the floor the heads were suspended over the platters..  When the server hit the floor they made contact and pretty much destroyed the disk.  It is possible for certain parts/files to work.. However, if it the server was windows based and if the drive had not been defragmented in quite a while it is a crap shoot.
