Building a new Computer, Need a really good Case.

So i'm getting ready to build a new computer. And I'm looking for a really good case. I don't want it too be one of these crazy looking cases, Those things are extremely ugly in my book. I want something really clean looking.

My Case Requirements:

Must be made out of Aluminum. If its steal and just about everything else below matches thats ok. But I would prefer Aluminum.

Inverted Motherboard. I want the Motherboard to be upside down so the CPU is at the bottom with a front bottom 120mm, and a rear 120mm fan. This is so I can cool the CPU independently from everything else. while at the same time keeping the noise level down. I don't want to hear this thing at all.

I would Like it to be silver, but black is ok.

No Frills is a Plus. I don't want this crap all over the place on it that kills its look.

No window, or light.

This is the closest that I have found so far.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112129 The only problem with this one is the Powersupply is in the front and its really short, other then that its good.

Does anyone know of any cases that would meet these?

not enough 5.25 external bays for me ,

Well I would like to have none, And just cut a slot for a slot load DVD burner. I hate having even the 3 that are on that case I only need 1 if that. And its really just too load my OS. All of my programs are on a external drive. I want a case that is super clean looking that doesn't make alot of noise while keeping the stuff inside cool.

I know it has more slots than you want but its pretty clean looking.

The motherboard needs too be inverted So the Processor is at the bottom.

lol on the clean look with an external drive , ?

I need 4 slots for H/D trays and cd/dvd dives , and plain beige is ok by me, as it isn't the star feature of my room , but each to there own I guess

You never see any of the external drives with my setup. They are all mounted on the back of my desk on a rubber pad so they don't make noise.

I only need one optical drive bay, and 2 hard drive. I like a case with 3 hard drive bays so I can space them out for better cooling.

my case is inverted motherboard style...its a Sunbeam Zorro...with a 120mm intake and 120mm exaust fan...is that what you want?

http://www.sunbeamtech.com/index-2.html

but its rather tall...its like 1 inch taller than my 22 inch widescreen monitor. and kinda long..but i love it...so far all of my stuff with stock cooling...like cpu is 26C idle... 32C under full load....etc.

Its a good case, But there is too much plastic  on it. I really want/need Aluminum. For looks, and cooling.

Why do you want the motherboard inverted so badly? Sure takes away pretty much all your options for cases.

Because then I can cool the CPU independently from everything else in the case. Have you ever noticed that Most High end Computers have the CPU at the bottom of the case. The G5 did it first so you create thermal zones and always use fresh air to cool everything.

It also makes the computer much more quite. You can run the fans at much lower RPM's

This is the best one that I have found so far. http://www.lian-li.com/product/product06.php?pr_index=8&cl_index=1&sc_index=1&ss_index=2&type=a

It has everything that I want. Except the Price. Its really hard to see my self buying a $220 case.  :evil6:

Yeah... I was looking at that one moment ago. I found a couple BUT they also have to many slots and the price tag is $$$. Some I dont even know if they have inverted motherboards... Atleast I tried to find you some.

I went to go get my old iPhone replaced because I've been having issues with it. Waiting to see what new stuff apple has to offer this coming up mac world expo. :-)

I'm hoping for the macbook air, or a desktop for around a 1000 bucks at macworld. But we will find out tomorrow.

Funny how "old" and "iPhone" do not constitute an oxymoron...

For the case, I love my Antec P180 and although the motherboard is not inverted, the PSU is isolated from the mobo and thus the whole case stays cool. I agree that thermal-wise, it's probably not as good as that Lian-Li one, but it comes with half the price tag. I must warn you that although it is mainly aluminum, it is quite heavy, so you won't want to move it around too much. It is also quite large and has more drives than you need, but it's quiet and it's relatively discreet.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings... my idiotic friend.
