Guest jeffwalker9999 Posted January 12, 2008 CID Share Posted January 12, 2008 I need to know how to set a name for the pc in the tcp/ip ( netbios name or host name ) In the router we are using the mac book pc is not showing a name as it does with the windows os pc's it only shows the mac address and I need to set a name for the mac and do not know how to do it please give me instructions or a url that tells how Host Name IP Address MAC Address 192.168.1.3 00-1c-b3-c1-xx-xx 192.168.1.2 00-11-95-db-xx-xx jeffwalker9999 192.168.1.12 00-15-00-38-xx-xx Also a 2nd ?? how do you reset myspace.com page from spanish back to english Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dlewis23 Posted January 12, 2008 CID Share Posted January 12, 2008 as for the myspace thing clear your cookies for myspace. for the computer name, go to system pref. then network, select your adapter and click advanced. then go to wins. and change the name and workgroup.
