djr man Posted January 16, 2008 CID Share Posted January 16, 2008 I am the IT guy for a radio station and have installed real vnc server on all our office computers. The office manager has a laptop and uses it with real vnc viewer to access her office computers remotly. She has had no problem with accessing the office computers from numerous locations. The other day she had her laptop at an accounting firm and plugged into their system via an ethernet cable. She could get the internet on her laptop but could not access our office computers remotely when she used realvnc viewer. Could the office of had some kind of fire wall in place, since this is the only off site location that her realvnc viewer has not worked in?
