My father in law is 80years old and bought my wifes Dell 531s from her and wants to transfer his files from the laptop to the desktop. I need a link or a detailed response. Roco Posted January 18, 2008 CID Share Posted January 18, 2008 Personally the USB memory pen would be my chosen route , it's just plug and pray , and they now come cheap enough , and after all the file transferring , you still have usefull storage/transfer space., especially for computers beyond cable length , BTW , if you add a short cut to the usb pen in the right click "send To " menue box it makes it quick and easy , to point to the file/picture etc. "send to usb drive " Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
