We appreciate the time you are putting in to help us......since i joined testmy.net my download speeds have gone from around 1.0 meg connection to about 1.8 meg consistently upload has gone from 1 kb to 3-5 kb this is like a 75% improvement from where i was before. I have read in the past about grounding the transmitter to improve upload speeds have you heard anything about this.... DW 4000 can pull 2 Mbps, but i havent seen a DW 6000 above 1.5 Mbps on 2992 KB test i know nothing about transmitters i just tried to mix regular cable and dsl tweaks for Sat, its great if you can test diffrent things, i think the file just need some finetuning, but its hard for me to suggest anything, cos i cant see how connection behave and so on i suggest to try changing these parameters Tcp1323Opts try 1 or 3 DefaultReceiveWindow and TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowsize see my previous post VanBuren Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had to go back to my old settings to even get webpages to load.. The speed test locked up so I didn't get a reading.. I am thinking about attempting to install SP2... However a 75meg download at these speeds is gonna take some time. Why was my internet able to hit 1000Kbps last night for 1 test and then slowed down soo horribly soo quickly? I just ran websetup again, to see if that might correct any problems.. doesn't look like it did.. Such as on the file DW4000 MTU 1460 there are quite a few blanks as well as with DW400 MTU 1460 with AFD Tweak... The only one that has a full page of "stats" is DW400 MTU 1460_VanBuren_test.
