hope that give you more help, i did all the other suggestions from that post :D

you missed these

1. What OS are you running, ex win 98, win xp, if you have XP make sure you have SP2 installed! Also download the p2p fix for SP2 here https://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497

2. What service do you have, what is the advertised speed for download/upload.

3. What tweakprograms you already got installed, and run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks  copy and paste result URL  adress in your post!

4. What speed do you have against www.testmy.net and http://nitro.ucsc.edu/

try this

download and install Cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64

download this attached file ( DSL PPPoE 4000 600.zip ), unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut

open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner click file, load custom settings file,  browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped.

now click save to registry and reboot

check speed again

what file have you used?

Thats not the settings i provided, you need to click on "* DSL PPPoE 4000 600.zip (0.23 KB - downloaded 0 times.)" on a previous post i made.

Also in that Nitro speedtest, says you have a MSS of 1452, and this tweaktester says you have 1460

sorry i did not use that file i used one out of a big zip of different configs you had i did not see where to get the DSL PPPoE 4000 600.zip from, and im not quite sure what you mean by the nitro being a 1452 and the tweak being a 1460

MSS requested:  1452

Max packet sent (MTU): 1492

Max packet recd (MTU): 1492

this is what i mean, it was not Nitro test, i was wrong it was same tweaktester as you used now, but this time you have this results....

MSS requested: 1460

Max packet sent (MTU): 1500

Max packet recd (MTU): 1500

so, you have been using the wrong MTU....

do like this..

open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

now all fields suppose to be blank

reboot your pc and make a new tweaktest and post result URL

ok i applied your settings and ran tweakster again and this is what i got this time

http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:107e4b9?service=cable&speed=4000&os=winXP&via=normal

has not changed my speeds however

your settings must be way off, none of the settings in that analyzer come from my file that i attached before....

after zeroing out the cablenut and rebooting this is what i got

http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:2f49a6a?service=cable&speed=4000&os=winXP&via=normal

vastly different from what i had before, im thinking that there were old settings applied, and i did not reboor after configuring the new ones you sent to me
