What type of connection are you on? It you say cable or dsl there is no way that the speed you posted is real. Cable is good up to 30mbs. However to acheive this you would need a dedicated line from the switch from a backbone. The highest you could possibly get from an ISP would most likely be around 6-10mbs. That would be if you were toward the front of the string of routers coming off the backbone. DSL would be really hard to get at these speeds. Since you upload isnt the same it means that you dont have SDSL which is capable of up to 2.3mbs ADSL is good up to 8mbs and xDSL is available but you have to be really close to the CO. Even then the therodical speed is 32mbs. That would be hard to obtain due to the fact that they run over copper phone line. Which means that you would most likely have to live in a newer area that is using a fiber optical then switches to a copper based solution as it enters the home. I havent seen an upload so i cant tell if it is xDSL. There is just no way. Actually if you plug into a university's service and then ran the test from there I could then believe the results but I doubt you would, as a student, have access to the server rooms nessary to do this type of test.

Hey CA3LE you should make it so that if someone does achieve those types of scores the server should email you with the results.... Then you could activate the link to test if it is real or not.

My guess it that you are running IE which does cache the script if you dont have your browser set up right. If you dont have the setting never check for updates and you never clear you cache/cookies then you will get bad results. This is just a guess I have no idea how CA3LE scripted it so...
